De was then chosen to be a part of Manhattan District Attorney’s Office where he was instrumental in a number of long term investigations that included undercover operations. This Investigator became a Forensic Physiological Detector of Deception (Polygraphist). This skill has separated De from the normal everyday duties of an investigator where he has to date been able to successfully determine the truthfulness of so many subjects that he has been called upon to teach his methods to outside Agencies. Investigator Scoon is currently a certified basketball coach and has coached many students into their High School years of Athletics. De is also the New York State Police Senior Physical Fitness Coordinator and Personal Trainer who instructs his peers on Health and Wellness. De held the rank of Senior Investigator and was Deputized a United States Marshal with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Drug Enforcement Administration. During retired Senior Investigator Scoon’s career it became apparent that our youth need to be reached so that they may be successful members of our society. This inspired both Ken Taylor and De Scoon to create the Cops and Teenagers program. De has appeared on the McDonald’s series “When I Grow Up,” and A&E’s series “Manhunters.”
